New Worlds Comics Is Launched!

February 26, 2014

New Worlds Comics is finally online.

We are a new digital independent comic book publisher. ‘Digital’ means we are only digital. This means that there are no hard copies and you can’t find us in stores. Here are some of the reviews we got:

Review roundup for Wynter #1:

“If you call yourself a science fiction fan this shouldn’t be required reading but necessary for you to exist.” – Adventures in Poor Taste. Score: 10 out of 10.

“Once in a while a new book shows up out of nowhere and reminds you why you love comics in the first place.” Rhymes with Geek. Score: 10 out of 10.

“Sci-Fi extravaganza” with “astonishing art.” Fortress of Solitude. Score: A+.

Review roundup for Goof #1

“I recommend Goof for any realistic superhero fans who enjoy a good laugh when reading.” – World of Superheroes

“This book is an absolute riot. I found myself laughing out loud.”
“This is definitely a book to look out for!” – Following the Nerd

““Funny!” “It’s great fun! I really liked it!” – Nerdlocker

Announcing: ‘New Worlds Comics’

April 1, 2013

Hi, everyone. In July we’re going to launch New Worlds Comics, which will be a digital comic books publisher.

It’s a start-up. It’s going to start small and build up. But as it does so, it’s going to use the absolute best talent, as you’ll soon see below. Our main vision is about artistic freedom, hoping that the new digital era will allow us to use artistic freedom to reach financial freedom (which will then help maintain our  artistic freedom).

Our first title will be called Goof, a comedy about the goofiest, dorkiest superhero you’ve ever seen. I promise to have you on the floor laughing by the end of each issue.

Below you’ll find a small preview taken from the middle of the first issue. It’s written by Guy Hasson and the art is by the incomparable Guillermo Ramírez. Enjoy:

Goof #1 is the copyright (C) 2013 of Old Man Productions Ltd.
